Texoma Community Center (TCC) is one of 39 Texas Community Centers, which are governmental entities as defined by Title 7 of the Texas Health and Safety Code

Position Summary: TCC is looking for a dynamic individual to join the growing TCC family as an Executive Assistant to the CEO. TCC is the Local Mental Health and Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority for Cooke, Grayson, and Fannin Counties. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing direct support to the CEO, Board of Trustees, and the C-suite. The Executive Assistant must be able to preserve confidentiality. They will assist the CEO in executing technical and non-technical phases of organizational goals. They will also provide clerical support to the Board of Trustees, HR, and other Chiefs. They will assist with special projects; designs and produces complex documents, reports, and presentations. They will collect and prepare information for meetings with both internal and external customers. The Executive Assistant needs to be friendly and professional and works in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards. Salary: Depending on Qualifications and Experience.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three years of successful experience in office management and complex clerical duties supporting programs such as HR or Executive level staff required.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/ or addiction issues desirable. K-16 school setting experiences are also highly desirable.
  • Previous successful experience in developing and maintaining good rapport with persons at all educational levels, working under tight and constant deadlines, coordinating multiple activities at one time and effectively handling stressful work and interpersonal relations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to speak a second language relevant to population served preferred
  • Must be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, research capable, and proficient in conducting in depth analysis of data sets.
  • Type at least 65 WPM
  • Excellent proofreading capabilities.
  • Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma
  • The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
