We are seeking a highly skilled **Construction Project Manager** to join our team at Bowhead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising construction crews and subcontractors on and off project sites, including camp. This is a non-exempt temporary position, requiring a 60-70 hour workweek.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Supervise construction crews and subcontractors to completion of contract work and warranty work.
- Responsible for supervision, direction, and safety of construction crews during the construction process.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications, read and correct shop drawings, and utilize/maintain project schedule.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including shareholder employment opportunities.
- Maintain worker safety and an accident-free work environment in strict compliance with OSHA rules.
- Perform Quality Control functions.
- Work with Project Manager to budget, forecast, and manage craft labor, equipment, materials, small tools, consumables, and general working environment.
- Logistics understanding of barging and air cargo efforts, including unloading, staging, and storing of material, food, and equipment.
- Familiarity with specific project, owner's representatives, location of tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications, read and correct shop drawings, and utilize/maintain project schedule.
- Commitment to worker safety and an accident-free work environment, in strict compliance with OSHA rules.
- OSHA 30 hour certification.
- OSHA Competent Person.
- Ability to perform Quality Control Functions.
- Ability to operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts and loaders.
- Punctual and on-time work history.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 15 years of construction experience.
- 7-10 years' experience in a supervisory role.
- Worked on remote school projects.
- Worked on remote construction project experience.
- Cloud-based construction systems.
- Microsoft systems.
- Strenuous walking, standing, and/or climbing.
- Heavy lifting and carrying.
- Working on uneven walking surfaces.
- Working on ladders and scaffolding.
- Loud noises.
- Extremes of heat or cold.
- Work environment may produce moderate levels of stress.
The work environment is that of a construction site, and the applicant may be subject to environmental conditions such as cold, heat, exposed to noise, hazards, and/or close quarters.

**Required Experience:**- Familiarity with specific project, owner's representatives, location of tools and equipment.
The employee must have a valid driver's license and a three-year clean driving record.
The employee must follow all Authorized Driver Policy and Procedures regarding approved vehicle usage.
All employees must pass a Non-DOT pre-employment drug screening and follow all UIC Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program guidelines and requirements.
If working on a DOT project, employees must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening and follow all DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program requirements.
Candidates must pass a background check in order to fill this position.
