Director of Enterprise Accounts

At Roadrunner Freight, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Enterprise Accounts to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business and retaining current business from accounts with multiple shipping locations and a single corporate location.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new business through prospecting and development techniques, ensuring profitability while driving growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers through regular professional communication and contact, making multiple contacts with the accounts hierarchy.
- Collaborate with Operations to understand customer needs and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Develop account pricing requirements and submit for corporate approval.
- Complete weekly sales reports and account profiles as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and ethical manner.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of RRTS services in all customer and prospect interactions.
- Assist with collections.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide leadership to other employees through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
- Follow up on potential leads and new opportunities for growth.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university, or five years or more of sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the transportation industry.
- Very proficient with written and verbal communication.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret pricing agreements, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, prospects, top management, and public groups.
- Excellent sales and negotiating skills.
- Preferred knowledge of hazmat regulations.
- Basic PC skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Ability to manage time and work efficiently.
- Must possess a current valid driver's license.
- Must be self-motivated and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be friendly, punctual, organized, have a positive attitude, and be able to work unsupervised.
- $115,000 to $145,000 per year.
