Therapist I or II Exempt Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist I or II Exempt to join our team at The Emily Program. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional, individualized care to our clients with eating disorders.
Job Summary:The Therapist I or II Exempt will provide individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment to clients and their families. This role requires a Master's degree in a behavioral sciences field and working toward independent licensure for Therapist I, or current independent licensure for Therapist II.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions with clients and their families/community of support
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Conduct therapy utilizing evidence-based treatments
- Participate in therapeutic supported meals
- Participate in treatment team meetings by reporting client and family assessment findings and response to interventions
- Conduct intake evaluations as assigned
- Assist with milieu management as needed
- Communicate with UR team to provide clinical data necessary for insurance continued stay reviews
- Generate discharge plans by making treatment and other recommendations, and coordinating next level of care services
- Collaborate with Accanto and community professionals, and community agencies to coordinate next level of care services and maintain continuity of care
- Participate in administrative and clinical supervision as scheduled and seeks supervision when needed
- Therapist II may provide clinical supervision as needed and appropriate based on licensure
- Engage in self-evaluation process, seeking feedback regarding own practice, from clients, peers, professional colleagues, and others
- Maintain up-to-date therapeutic skills and knowledge of advancements in eating disorders assessment and treatment, best practices, and resources through participation in professional organizations, internal and external training opportunities, and reviewing current academic literature
