About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Growth Strategist to join our team at Aquasight. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the municipal water and wastewater sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report on sales results
  • Stay up to date with new products/services and value propositions

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum five years proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Representative, or similar role
  • Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools
  • Ability to pick up municipal water and wastewater sector and key messaging
  • A go-getter, data-driven, well-organized, task-oriented, and structured individual
  • High degree of professionalism in representing the company in front of clients with excellent email and writing skills
  • Steady and calm-headed when managing complexity
  • Demonstrated perseverance and patience in managing lead volume
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and pipeline metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
