We are seeking an experienced End-to-End Warranty Strategist to join our team at Slate. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive warranty process from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warranty processing, manufacturing processes, and quality control. They should also have experience with system implementation and onboarding a new software system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead the end-to-end warranty process, including system selection, reporting, budgeting, adjudication escalation, hiring, and implementation of warranty software.
  • Integrate warranty software solutions for tracking and handling claims and ensure seamless integration with existing company systems (QMS/PLM/ERP).
  • Establish clear warranty terms and conditions that are transparent to customers and dealers, including authoring the warranty manual.
  • Hire, train, and lead a team of warranty specialists to handle claims processing, customer inquiries, and dispute resolution.
  • Analyze warranty data to identify trends, report on key performance indicators, and recommend product or process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to warranties.
  • Prepare and manage the warranty department budget and provide input into the warranty reserve/accrual.
