Position Overview
The Shingo MBA Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the MBA office while engaging extensively with Shingo MBA specialization students at Utah State University. This position will act as the main point of contact and advisor for all students enrolled in the Shingo MBA program, assisting them in their academic paths and ensuring they fulfill all graduation requirements. Additionally, the coordinator will oversee marketing and recruitment initiatives for the Shingo specialization, collaborating with both the MBA Office and the Shingo Institute to enhance and expand the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Guidance: Offer academic support to Shingo specialization students, including assistance with course selection, scheduling, and understanding graduation criteria.
- Student Support: Act as a resource for students, providing guidance on academic and university-related matters. Ensure timely communication of program updates, deadlines, and essential information.
- Program Coordination: Organize program events such as orientations, workshops, and projects to enrich the student experience and facilitate successful program completion. Work closely with faculty and staff from both the MBA Office and the Shingo Institute.
- Program Promotion: Collaborate with staff to develop marketing strategies and recruitment efforts aimed at increasing enrollment in the Shingo specialization. Help establish a scalable system to manage program growth.
- Student Engagement: Cultivate a strong community among Shingo MBA students through regular communication and networking opportunities.
- Record Maintenance: Keep precise records of student progress, including grades and credits, to ensure timely graduation.
- Office Assistance: Provide support for various office projects as required.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of experience in student services or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and capability to maintain accurate records are crucial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other relevant software is required.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Shingo Institute and the Shingo Model is preferred.
- Understanding of higher education policies and procedures, particularly those of Utah State University, is advantageous.

Salary Information
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $22 to $24.
Work Environment
