Position: Guest Services Associate - Full Time
Reports to: Rooms Division Manager & Director of Rooms
Job Purpose: Create a welcoming and guest-focused environment for all visitors at the Resort, both during their arrival and throughout their stay.
Job Summary: Provide exceptional support to guests by assisting with check-in/check-out processes and accommodating their needs in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. This involves going above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for every guest.
Duties & Responsibilities- Greet all guests and colleagues with a friendly and service-oriented attitude.
- Maintain a warm and approachable demeanor at all times.
- Be attentive, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
- Handle luggage with care when loading and unloading carts.
- Escort guests to their rooms and provide information about hotel services and amenities (hours of operation for outlets, waterpark, spa, fitness center, etc.). Inspect guest rooms to ensure they are clean and well-stocked.
- Explain room features, including the operation of the radio, telephone, television, in-room movie system, high-speed internet, etc.
- Check and store luggage for arrivals and departures using luggage tags.
- Deliver messages and notes to meeting rooms and guest rooms as needed.
- Deliver flowers, laundry, packages, and amenities to guest rooms upon request.
- Assist with providing shuttle service to and from the condos and local restaurants.
- Ensure that charges and baggage pulls are accurately logged and submitted to the supervisor or front desk as required.
- Possess a strong customer service orientation and work ethic.
- Hold a valid driver's license and meet all requirements outlined in the Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center Vehicle Safety Policy. Must be 21 years old to operate the shuttle.
- Be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Be able to stand for extended periods throughout your shift.
- Have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
