Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Associate to join our team. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality pastry and bakery items, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Excellence: Follow recipes and production lists to ensure high-quality pastry and bakery items are produced on time.
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Health Department guidelines and Festival Foods' sanitation and safety practices.
  • Inventory and Stock Management: Oversee inventory levels, making decisions on what items need to be produced to meet customer demand.
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing any concerns or issues with products.
  • Food Safety: Maintain accurate food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met.
  • Teamwork: Assist other bakery associates with daily responsibilities and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the department.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: Ability to effectively deal with guests and colleagues, with a strong understanding of baking and pastry production.
  • Safety Knowledge: Follow all safety requirements and company safety policies, with proper training and knowledge of bakery equipment and procedures.
Work Environment

The Bakery Production Associate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, near moving machinery, and repetitive motion of hands and wrists. The position requires standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
