Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Encore Senior Living. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
  • Upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any concerns or issues promptly
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
  • Assist with food preparation as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Server in the food industry is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality practices and customer service principles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
  • Basic culinary knowledge to answer questions about ingredients or dietary restrictions
