We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Staff Accountant to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of our clients, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and fixed assets reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general ledger entries and trial balances
  • Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
  • Perform fixed assets reporting, including schedules and depreciations
  • Prepare month-end closing documents and year-end closing statements, as well as work with outside auditors as needed
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and A/R
  • Generate ad-hoc reports, including A/R aging, depreciation schedules, debt compliance, and loan reporting
  • Create and send invoices, maintain records of receivable aging, and work on accounts receivable collections

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience
  • Solid general ledger accounting skills
  • Fixed assets experience
  • Strong Excel knowledge
