Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the monthly close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and help the organization achieve its financial goals.
  • Prepare and analyze business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
  • Drive the production of periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations across multiple companies.
  • Oversee and manage general ledger accounting functions, including inventory management and audits.
  • Establish and monitor objective annual goals for direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and develop performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Recruit, interview, and select personnel for hire, ensuring a strong team dynamic.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management from an accredited college or university.
  • CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with previous work experience as a Staff Accountant or in Public Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • At least one year of experience with Oracle NetSuite or QuickBooks preferred.
  • Clearance of a favorable background investigation required.
