About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at CyberCoders. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing estimates, managing take-off and quantity surveys, and soliciting subcontractor and material/equipment quotes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for management purposes, bids, and vendor qualification.
  • Manage and oversee take-off and quantity surveys, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Solicit quotes from approved vendors, optimizing strategic objectives and competitive results.
  • Attend pre-bid job meetings and site surveys as required.
  • Prepare bid summaries, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Coordinate bid activities, executing submissions in a strategic manner to ensure success.
  • Generate RFIs and send to relevant entities.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant electrical estimating experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting/Finance, etc.).
  • CPE Certified Professional Electrical Estimator (a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Bluebeam, ConstructJob, MS Project, or other related Construction Management software.
  • Proficiency in Accubid or other related Construction Estimating software.
  • Proven experience estimating projects in the $50k - $5mm+ range.
