Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent

Turner Construction is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Superintendent to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of mechanical systems on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor for mechanical systems.
  • Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed, and adherence to budget.
  • Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and trade labor.
  • Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
  • Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues.
  • Manage the billing process and oversee the monthly estimate of work completed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of six years of mechanical construction experience.
  • Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
  • Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

The Mechanical Superintendent will work on-site at the construction work site, exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
