Community Development Specialist: Grant Program Coordinator

The Laberge Group is expanding its Planning and Community Development Department with a seasoned Grant Program Coordinator. This individual will work collaboratively with our team to provide expertise in grant writing, management, and administration.
About the PositionThis role involves researching, identifying, and communicating grant opportunities to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive grant tracking system, coordinating applications, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research on available grant opportunities, including federal, state, and local programs.
- Develop and communicate key requirements and application processes to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of grant tracking, progress, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with government agencies and departments to facilitate grant applications and reimbursement documentation.
- Prepare and submit high-quality grant applications, meeting specific program guidelines.
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Community or Regional Planning, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in grant coordination, management, and fiscal reporting.
- Exceptional technical writing and computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working with grants from organizations such as CDBG, USDA, EFC, HOME, LWRP, WQIP, and ESD is highly desirable.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $62,000 to $78,000 per year. Our company provides an excellent benefit package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and professional development opportunities.
