Development Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Project Coordinator to join our Planning and Community Development Department in Albany, NY.

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating grant activities, including research, communication, tracking, and administration. This role requires strong technical writing and computer skills, as well as experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and identify grant opportunities for municipal clients
- Communicate key requirements and opportunities to clients
- Maintain a grant tracking system
- Coordinate with agencies and departments regarding grant applications
- Develop and prepare grant applications
- Prepare reimbursement documentation
- Administer grants and loans
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
- At least five years of experience coordinating grant activities and programs
- Excellent technical writing and computer skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and handle stress
- Prior experience with representative grant programs is preferred
This is a competitive opportunity offering a salary range of $62,000 to $78,000 based on experience. Additionally, Laberge Group provides an excellent benefit package, commensurate with experience.
