About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Manager to lead our grant-related initiatives at the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York. The successful candidate will have strong project management expertise, experience with case management or database reporting, exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Grant Application and Reporting Management:
  • Identify grant requirements, assign tasks, and manage the collection, organization, packaging, and input of information from various stakeholders and systems for timely grant applications and ongoing grant reporting.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data provided in grant applications and reports.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of current grants and required submissions, grant applications and outcomes, and grant opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration).
  • Possess 3-5 years of experience in grants management, project management, or equivalent experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Strong background in generating database reports and conducting data analysis.
  • Familiarity with case management systems, such as Legal Server, or experience in database administration a plus.
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office, especially using Teams collaboratively and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work style with the ability to work independently.
