Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of tenant improvement projects. This role requires effective management of resources, timelines, and budgets while collaborating with key stakeholders to navigate challenges that may arise. Flexibility is essential as projects will be located in various areas.

Client Overview

Our client is a prominent general contractor known for their expertise in office renovations, entertainment studio constructions, and specialized clean room projects. They maintain strong partnerships with high-value clients and currently have a robust portfolio of projects in the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct tenant improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within defined scope and budget.
  • Manage all aspects of project activities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project specifications and expectations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, implementing solutions promptly to maintain project timelines.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding project status.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance their project experience.
  • Report directly to the General Manager, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

  • 5-10 years of project management experience within a general contracting environment, focusing on office and commercial tenant improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with successful outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to tenant improvements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $130,000 - $150,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
