Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with ownership and leasing staff to ensure seamless property operations
  • Interface with current and prospective tenants to provide exceptional customer service and resolve any concerns
  • Troubleshoot and resolve property issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Dispatch maintenance staff for work orders and ensure timely completion
  • Manage tenant improvements and capital expenditure projects to maximize property value
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial stability and growth
  • Analyze budget variances and provide clear explanations to management and ownership
  • Oversee payable and receivable processes for all properties
  • Prepare regular reports for management and ownership to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute property events
  • Follow up with tenants to ensure their concerns are addressed and relationships are built
  • Track lease agreements and termination dates to ensure compliance and minimize risk
  • Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs to ensure a smooth transition
  • Process renewals and ensure timely completion
  • Manage vendor relationships and select new vendors as needed to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Visit properties as needed to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial property manager, with a strong background in retail property management
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or real estate
  • Strong working knowledge of financial principles and practices
