Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geo-Environmental and Civil Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geotechnical design and construction, with a focus on professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert geotechnical advice for diverse development projects.
  • Oversee subsurface investigations and soil testing initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and documentation.
  • Develop permit applications and engineering calculations for various projects.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for construction.
  • Support civil-site design efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address client challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Mentor junior staff and manage project tasks effectively.
  • Implement quality assurance and control measures throughout project phases.
  • Exhibit strong technical writing, data management, and communication skills.
  • Engage in business development activities and proposal creation.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Advanced education or specialized training in relevant engineering fields.
  • A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in geotechnical roles.
  • Experience in developing and executing engineering plans and specifications.
  • Proficient in conducting subsurface explorations and laboratory testing.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in renewable energy projects, such as wind or solar.
  • Familiarity with solid waste management initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory processes and construction permitting.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
