Key Responsibilities:

  • Advises clients on strategies to improve their programs and policies
  • Evaluates workpapers to ensure compliance with client specifications and quality benchmarks
  • Investigates program regulations and communicates insights to clients
  • Directs the preparation and submission of housing subsidy applications and federal funding requests for clients
  • Provides comprehensive accounting services, including reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Performs financial statement analysis and aids in budget oversight
  • Engages with clients to collect necessary data and compiles financial reports
  • Assists in drafting proposals and articulating solutions to client challenges
  • Implements processes and tools to enhance workflow management

Required Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of accounting experience is required
  • Preferred experience includes three years in public accounting
  • Supervisory experience of one year or more is preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Actively pursuing CPA licensure is required
  • CPA certification is preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with assurance applications and research tools is preferred

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective project management capabilities
