Direct Support Professional

Salim Homes Residential Services is seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Direct Support Professional. This position involves assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities to lead a safe, self-directed life and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist individuals with daily living skills to ensure a safe and meaningful environment.
- Provide person-centered supports and services.
- Maintain physical health and emotional well-being.
- Be responsible and accountable for daily tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and provide fair and respectful treatment.
- Support new relationships and maintain existing ones.
- Encourage independence and advocate as needed.
- Support community involvement and participation.
- High school or GED equivalent.
- Drivers License and valid auto insurance.
- CPR/First Aid certification (a plus).
- Medication Administration certification (a plus).
- Drug screening.
- Criminal background check.
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time.
Salary: $15.00 /hour.
