Job SummaryWe are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a DSP, you will provide direct support to individuals with IDD, facilitating daily living activities, training, and community access.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dining skills, and housekeeping skills
- Provide direct support and training to individuals with IDD
- Aid in mobility and assist with meal service
- Administer medications and treatments according to company policy
- Participate in in-service training sessions and serve as a role model and mentor to fellow DSPs
- A high school education or equivalent
- Previous experience in supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
