We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Ceded Reinsurance, to join our team at Corebridge Financial. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing reinsurance opportunities within Corebridge, managing the in-force reinsured portfolio, and maintaining relationships with all reinsurers.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and execute reinsurance opportunities to optimize the profitability of existing and future business
- Manage the in-force reinsured portfolio, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and statutory requirements
- Maintain relationships with current and prospective reinsurers, responding to business requests for information and coordinating market intelligence
- Develop and execute multi-year roadmaps to drive business growth and profitability
- Collaborate with functional areas to ensure alignment with strategic, operating, and financial plans
- 7+ years of experience in reinsurance, with a strong understanding of life insurance products and reinsurance structuring
- Deep subject matter expertise in life insurance products, with a preference for retirement product expertise
- Significant experience in reinsurance transactions, with a proven track record of developing and executing multi-year roadmaps
- Strong knowledge of the reinsurer marketplace, including alternate solutions
- Bachelor's degree required, with a Master's degree and/or insurance designations preferred
At Corebridge Financial, we offer a competitive benefits package, including a 401(k) retirement plan with a 1:1 match up to 6% and an additional 3% contribution from the company. We also offer 24 PTO days, 17 paid holidays, and a generous base salary range of $240,000-$300,000, with eligibility for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
