The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join our team. As a VA employee, you will practice Whole Health in an environment that supports personalized and proactive care. Our health care teams are deeply experienced and guided by the needs of Veterans, their families, and caregivers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform open and endovascular AAA surgical repair.
  • Conduct dialysis access procedures.
  • Diagnose and intervene in angiography, including mesenteric and peripheral vascular.
  • Perform lower extremity bypass.
  • Conduct open and endovascular carotid surgery.
  • Supervise and teach surgical residents.
  • Provide consultation in an outpatient clinic setting and on inpatient wards.
  • Be responsible for initial evaluation and overall workups, history and physicals, and admission of vascular surgery patients as needed.
  • Participate in committees.

Compensation: $250K-$400K

Recruitment Incentives: Available for well-qualified applicants

EDRP Authorized: This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
