Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions, LLC. As a General Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative duties designated by the Chief of Surgery
  • Duties involving preventative medicine, emergency preparedness, and other internal and external health systems requirements
  • Surgery includes General, Colon and Rectal; Plastic; Thoracic/Vascular; Neurosurgery; and Cardiothoracic
  • Supervision and training of Surgical Residents, other trainees, and physician extenders
  • Provide fair and equitable on-call services during daytime, after-hours, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an approved school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgery
  • Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
  • Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veteran Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
  • Active AHA BLS
  • NPI report printout
  • Active DEA license
  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
