Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. This is a 2-year contract with options to extend, offering a competitive compensation package and a stable work environment.

Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia or clinically supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in a fast-paced operating room environment. Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including general, cardiac, ortho, vascular, thoracic, ENT, urologic, and ophthalmologic surgeries. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
Must be a citizen of the United States and hold a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any state. Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) and possess BLS, ACLS, and DEA registration. Fluency in English is required, and the ability to pass a Government background security check is necessary.

Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate of $400 for regular hours, $450 for overtime, and $60-$100 for on-call shifts. Additional reimbursement for lodging and rental car expenses. Group medical malpractice insurance available. A stable work environment with a fully staffed department and a variety of surgical cases.
