Job Overview

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Equipment Maintenance Coordinator to oversee our operations.

Position Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for effectively managing and directing all activities related to the wash bay and yard organization. This role requires coordination with various departments to ensure optimal service delivery to both customers and staff. The goal is to maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning wash bay, reporting directly to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and oversee the operations of the wash bay.
  • Supervise the process for tracking all equipment entering and exiting the wash bay, including documentation and imaging.
  • Safely operate and maneuver equipment in and out of the wash bay.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of equipment exteriors using power washing techniques.
  • Detail the interiors of cabs with appropriate cleaning supplies, including vacuuming and window cleaning.
  • Manage fueling of equipment.
  • Assist the sales department as needed.
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness of the equipment yard, including rental equipment management and support for equipment pick-up and return.
  • Conduct inventory assessments of equipment available for rental and sale.
  • Participate in preparing equipment for rental, sales, and demonstrations as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in operating construction machinery.
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to utilize company software effectively.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance in line with job responsibilities.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
  • Comfortable with various physical activities including bending, climbing, and reaching.
  • Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, with potential exposure to loud noise levels.
