Stan Houston Equipment Company is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Full-Time Diesel & Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician at our facility.

Typical Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and perform repairs on a broad range of construction machinery, including but not limited to lifts, mini excavators, generators, and various tools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all service orders.

Essential Requirements for Success:

  • Preferred vocational or technical education in mechanics, machine tool technology, or a related discipline.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

  • Good vision for reading small print and working with intricate components.
  • Ability to hear equipment signals and sounds for effective problem detection.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and work in various positions.
