Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and retaining existing revenue in an assigned territory through the sale of Terumo products to new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, initiate, and direct the contract and sales of assigned product lines to new clients and current accounts.
  • Introduce new or existing products to customers and secure orders through effective use of professional sales presentations.
  • Maintain existing business through routine calls, relationship building, and keeping customers up-to-date on industry trends and technical information.
  • Provide in-service education to customers to promote an understanding of Terumo products and their differences from competitive products.
  • Interact with Terumo departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Efficiently manage and respond to administrative tasks, including weekly call and expense reports, contract pricing proposals, contract expirations, sales tracking, and monthly reviews.
  • Meet sales budget while spending within expense plan.
  • Attend trade shows and conventions to promote Terumo products.
  • Develop and implement individual territory business plans and strategies to achieve sales quotas and objectives.
  • Ensure documentation and training are in compliance with hospital operating room protocol tracking systems.
Requirements
  • Requires a four-year college degree and a minimum of two years of sales experience in a medical products manufacturing company.
  • Basic computer software skills, i.e., Microsoft Office.
