The primary objective of this role is to focus on the flourishing construction sector across various counties. The responsibilities include building and nurturing strong relationships with heavy equipment owners in industries such as agriculture, construction, government, fleet, and finance. The Territory Sales Manager plays a crucial role in business development and the strategic implementation of Purple Wave's auction services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain connections with industry partners and prospective clients to enhance Purple Wave's presence and brand awareness.
- Inform and educate clients within the designated territory about the auction services offered by Purple Wave and how they can leverage these services for buying or selling used equipment.
- Gather and input customer data and opportunities into the CRM system to ensure effective communication among team members.
- Support and oversee all stages of the auction process to ensure successful execution.
- Represent our company positively to heavy equipment owners, buyers, and sellers.
- Promote upcoming auctions through effective marketing of auction inventory and packages.
- Manage relationships with buyers and sellers to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming sales inquiries.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and similar events to promote our services, auctions, and assets.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience.
- Willingness to travel extensively as needed.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following sectors: construction, agriculture, fleet, and government.
- Proficient in utilizing various technologies, tools, and systems for information gathering and sharing.
- Self-driven with the ability to take initiative in closing deals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Completion of skills assessment testing may be required.
- Applicants must be either U.S. Citizens or eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must successfully complete a background check.
- A valid state driver's license is required in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Full-time salaried position, exempt from overtime.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work outside standard business hours.
- Expected travel up to 75% of the time.
- This role is physically demanding, requiring regular climbing, lifting, and physical exertion, including maneuvering around heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Competitive salary paid bi-weekly, including base salary and estimated first-year commission.
- Monthly commission based on contracted sales revenue, with additional commissions for meeting minimum target values.
- Company vehicle provided.
- Includes company-provided cell phone and computer equipment.
- Health, Dental, and Vision coverage starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
- 401(k) plan with employer match up to 4%, effective from the first day of employment.
- Company-paid Life Insurance benefit of $25,000, with options for additional coverage through employee contributions after 60 days of employment.
- Annual Personal Time Off (PTO) of 120 hours, prorated based on employment duration.
- Eligibility to participate in the Company Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) after 90 days of employment.
