Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing business growth opportunities in the Midwest region, primarily for the construction, mechanical, and fabric maintenance services. This role involves maintaining client relationships, developing growth plans, and collaborating with internal counterparts to drive business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform market research and analysis to identify business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement business growth plans.
  • Support the marketing team in developing client-specific event planning and marketing strategies.
  • Assist in the development of business proposals and qualifications.
  • Facilitate the development of presentations and marketing materials for target customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and expansion.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel routinely.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
  • Working knowledge of construction and maintenance services.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and IIR.
  • Demonstrated skill in business proposal development.
  • Working knowledge of contract and commercial proposal structures.
  • Ability to negotiate with customers.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
