As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery, focusing on post-operative management and optimization of patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiothoracic surgery patients.
- Collaborate with the cardiothoracic surgery team to ensure seamless patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practices to prevent or mitigate post-operative complications and hospital readmissions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in cardiothoracic surgery care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience in acute care and cardiothoracic surgery preferred.
