About the Role:

The Sentara Heart Hospital Cardiothoracic Surgery team seeks a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) team. The ideal candidate will have a background in cardiothoracic surgery and at least two years of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality postoperative care to cardiothoracic surgery patients in the IMCU
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
