About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Multifamily Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team at FPI Management, Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep and condition of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. This includes performing diversified duties such as repairing flooring, drywall, and appliances; troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems; painting (interior and exterior); and cleaning (sweeping, mopping, garden/yard upkeep, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the upkeep and condition of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including:
    • Flooring, drywall, and appliance repair
    • Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems
    • Painting (interior and exterior)
    • Cleaning (sweeping, mopping, garden/yard upkeep, etc.)
  • Conduct on-call/emergency services, responding to resident requests and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including documenting repairs and maintenance activities
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance meeting State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy
  • Ability to wear a respirator, and have the ability to be medically fit for duty and cleared to wear a respirator, and comply with FPI's facial hair policy
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
  • Basic computer skills (email, internet, etc.)
