About the Role:

The Instructional Content Developer is a key member of our team at Upgrade, Inc., responsible for designing and delivering high-impact training content. This role requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and learning objectives.
  • Design and Develop Instructional Materials: Create engaging and effective instructional materials that align with learning outcomes and meet the needs of our learners.
  • Develop Interactive Learning Content: Design and develop interactive eLearning, ILT, and blended modules using various authoring tools.
  • Conduct Needs Assessments: Conduct thorough needs assessments in collaboration with instructional design leadership to ensure that training content meets the needs of our learners.
  • Stay Current on Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices in instructional design and adult learning theory.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across departments to ensure project success.
  • Partner with Training Facilitation Team: Collaborate with the training facilitation team to ensure that all content reflects the current standards of each line of business.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
  • Instructional Design Software: Proficiency in instructional design software, including Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and AI-based tools.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Learning Management Systems: Experience working with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Certification: Certification in instructional design, training, or a related L&D field.
