Position Overview

As a Clinical Engineering Specialist, you will provide essential on-site consultation and support to medical professionals and operating room staff. Your role will involve evaluating options and offering solutions during surgical procedures to enhance the efficiency and application of Image Guided Surgery (IGS) products.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Product Support**: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve product-related issues using your engineering expertise to ensure optimal performance.
2. **Collaboration with Radiology**: Guide Radiology personnel in conducting necessary imaging scans prior to surgical interventions.
3. **Training and Education**: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for physicians and hospital staff, including operating room teams, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical, and IT departments, focusing on the effective use of IGS products and services.
4. **Customer Liaison**: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, monitoring satisfaction levels and product usage, while identifying opportunities to enhance revenue through the sale of spare parts and upgrades.
5. **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the Senior Application Consultant, Area Account Manager, Key Account Manager, and Marketing Manager to ensure market transparency and contribute to upgrade initiatives and research and development projects.
6. **Quality Improvement**: Utilize your engineering knowledge to recommend modifications that enhance product quality and performance.
7. **Promotional Activities**: Attend industry meetings and trade shows to showcase and advocate for IGS products and services.
8. **Continuous Learning**: Stay informed about advancements in Brainlab and competitive IGS offerings through ongoing training and personal research.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the organization.
