What is the Role?

Anchor QEA is in search of a dedicated accounting professional to support the Assistant Controller in overseeing the Company's cash inflow processes. The Accounts Receivable Specialist II will engage with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure precise and timely reporting of deposit activities, thereby enabling the organization to maintain a clear understanding of its cash flow. This position plays a crucial role in providing insights into the cash cycle for Senior Management and the C-Suite, facilitating informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily deposit activities (ACHs, wires, checks) in collaboration with the Accounts Receivable team, including managing check deposits via the banking platform, posting deposits against client receivables, and investigating unapplied deposits.
  • Conduct daily reconciliation processes to confirm that all deposits are recorded and all checks are successfully deposited.
  • Assist the Assistant Controller in ensuring the accuracy of all related reports, including the timely posting of deposit activities and prompt responses to inquiries from both internal and external clients.
  • Support the Assistant Controller in research and collection efforts with Project Managers, Project Accountants, and Clients as necessary.
  • Contribute to cash forecasting initiatives alongside the Assistant Controller.
  • Collaborate with the General Ledger Accounting team to investigate deposit activities identified during the Bank Reconciliation process.
  • Assist the Assistant Controller and Controller with month-end and year-end tasks (e.g., audits) as required.
  • Provide support to the Assistant Controller and Controller in various other activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a two-year Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least two years of experience in the cash inflow cycle (accounts receivable, treasury/banking).
  • The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals. Flexibility to embrace new challenges is essential, as is a commitment to continuous process improvement in partnership with the Accounting and Finance team.
  • High integrity and personal ethics are critical due to the sensitive nature of the work involved.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $59,750 - $69,750 annually
  • Annual Bonus Opportunities

Base Level Benefits for Regular Full-Time Positions:
