Position Overview: Responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating all stages of one or more projects from preconstruction to completion. Plays a key role in securing new business opportunities for the organization.

Reports to: Construction Executive, Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Cultivate and sustain enduring relationships with clients, the design community, and organizations to enhance future business prospects. Build high-performing teams through effective supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure timely feedback is provided to staff, including the completion of performance evaluations. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to secure new projects for the business unit. Uphold strict adherence to ethical standards and compliance on all projects. Provide leadership in risk assessment, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies. Manage and oversee multiple projects concurrently from preconstruction through to completion. Supervise the creation of the master project schedule and ensure its execution. Oversee budget and financial management for all projects. Promote and support the use of various Turner initiatives and technologies. Administer the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program. Enforce safety protocols among project staff. Engage as a responsible corporate citizen within the community and optimize Turner-controlled resources to achieve business unit objectives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of eighteen years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Comprehensive knowledge of construction costs, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles, along with accounting practices. Ability to identify and pursue business opportunities. Familiarity with the regional market and sales/closing techniques. Proven written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong presentation skills are essential. Ability to read, interpret, and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules. Capacity to implement advanced technologies such as Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean methodologies to enhance project outcomes. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements: The performance of essential duties necessitates the physical ability to navigate construction sites, including climbing stairs and ladders, and maneuvering through work areas. Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position also requires the use of hands for handling tools and controls, as well as the ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: While executing the responsibilities of this role, employees typically work on-site at construction locations, where they may encounter moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, varying weather conditions, and electrical hazards. Noise levels in these environments can range from moderate to very loud.
