Job Overview

At Olsson, we assist our clients in navigating the intricate landscape of environmental regulations while integrating environmental stewardship into project design. Our expertise encompasses the National Environmental Policy Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, and other federal environmental regulations, enabling our clients to develop projects that not only fulfill their requirements but also respect environmental resources in their designs.

As an Environmental Project Manager for our Environmental team, you will take the lead on NEPA projects, emphasizing project execution, quality assurance, client retention, and management of key client relationships. Your role will also involve supporting marketing and business development initiatives, overseeing and directing professionals and technical staff, and fostering efficiencies in delivering high-quality work. You will collaborate across various teams and offices, mentor and train colleagues on complex tasks, and may require travel to job sites for field assessments. Experience in NEPA, environmental consulting, or specific expertise in transportation projects, PEL grants, telecommunication projects, and water resource initiatives is advantageous.

  • A Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in the consulting sector
  • Proven experience as a project manager
