About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems in assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime
  • Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling units, including diagnostic testing and repair
  • Install, replace, or repair damaged equipment, including thermostatic controls and refrigeration systems
  • Assist in planning and designing new installations of HVAC systems
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Current membership in Local 636 or willingness to join
  • 2-year Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications
  • Experience in industrial environments and working on industrial HVAC units
