Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive business growth and improve supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost savings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and manage procurement budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing procurement strategies that drive business growth and improve supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Purchasing Manager or related purchasing manager certification.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and project management.
  • Master's degree in business or related field.
