The Beverage and Food Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of food and beverage services while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position involves forecasting, planning, and managing all food and beverage orders, staffing, and financial operations. The primary objective is to enhance sales and revenue, ensure customer satisfaction, and foster employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all food and beverage operations while adhering to budgetary constraints and maintaining high standards.
  • Monitor food preparation techniques, portion sizes, and presentation to guarantee quality and appeal.
  • Conduct taste tests to ensure food meets flavor and quality standards.
  • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, verifying quality and quantity upon receipt.
  • Manage departmental budgets and payroll, reviewing financial transactions to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Organize staff schedules and delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints related to food quality, service, or accommodations.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the food and beverage team by attracting, recruiting, training, and evaluating talented individuals.
  • Encourage open communication and foster a culture of ownership, motivation, and teamwork.
  • Conduct performance reviews, manage attendance records, and supervise staff work ethics.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Report on sales performance and productivity to management.
  • Enforce age restrictions and alcohol control policies in line with company guidelines.
  • Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Deliver superior customer service by being readily accessible and visible to patrons.
  • Fulfill all shift responsibilities as assigned by the Store General Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Store General Manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Follow company protocols for managing confidential information and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the maintenance and appearance of facilities comply with safety and environmental standards.
  • Enforce compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding safety and loss prevention.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including securing premises and managing alarm systems.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Beverage and Food Operations Supervisor position should possess strong customer service skills and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating integrity and respect for all individuals. Effective communication skills, critical thinking, and an appreciation for diversity are essential.

Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED. Open availability, particularly during evenings and weekends, is preferred. Candidates handling and serving alcohol must be at least 21 years of age.

Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience is required.

Work Environment:
This role is performed in a vibrant entertainment setting, where high levels of noise and activity are common.

Physical Requirements:
Employees must be able to bend, stretch, twist, and have a high degree of mobility. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods and the ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs with assistance.
