Position Overview:

Dexian - Signature Consultants is in search of a Bilingual Spanish Quality Assurance Tester to support our client in ensuring software excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review system specifications thoroughly.
  • Work collaboratively with QA Engineers to formulate effective testing strategies and plans.
  • Execute both manual and automated test cases, assessing the outcomes.
  • Assess product code against established specifications.
  • Document testing phases and defects meticulously.
  • Communicate bugs and errors to development teams for resolution.
  • Assist in troubleshooting various issues.
  • Conduct testing after releases and implementations.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to uphold quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • On-site presence required five days a week.
  • Proficient in planning and documenting tests; capable of executing tests and troubleshooting issues effectively.
  • Skilled in documenting defects and issues with due diligence; knowledgeable about agile methodologies and the tester's role within them.
  • Adept at assessing and testing Epics and Stories in an agile environment; experienced in documenting test plans and scripts.
  • Ability to work in a lab setting to test ATM software on hardware devices.
  • Capable of executing and documenting testing results, including troubleshooting to minimize defects.
  • Experience with software installations, data conditioning, and identifying test environment issues.
  • Hands-on hardware testing experience in a lab environment.
  • Possess curiosity, determination, and the ability to communicate issues clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience with device testing in a lab setting.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills for timely issue reporting.
  • Able to work independently and make decisions that drive progress despite challenges.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a Testing certification preferred.
  • Experience in a lab environment with collaborative skills and willingness to work with hardware (ATMs).
  • Understanding of the agile framework and proficiency in agile tools for test management and defect tracking.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience in testing user interfaces with data manipulation capabilities.
  • Exploratory and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience, collaborating closely with business partners for acceptance.
