Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review system specifications to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with QA Engineers to devise comprehensive testing strategies and plans.
  • Execute both manual and automated test cases, and thoroughly analyze the outcomes.
  • Assess product code against established specifications.
  • Document all testing phases and defects meticulously.
  • Communicate bugs and errors effectively to development teams.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Conduct testing after releases and implementations to verify functionality.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • On-site presence required five days a week.
  • Proficient in planning and documenting tests, with the ability to execute tests and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Skilled in documenting defects and issues, demonstrating a solid understanding of agile methodologies and the tester's role within them.
  • Capable of assessing and testing Epics and Stories in an agile framework, including documentation of test plans and cases/scripts.
  • Experience in a lab environment, specifically testing ATM software on hardware devices.
  • Ability to execute and document testing results, focusing on troubleshooting and minimizing defects.
  • Involvement in software installations, data conditioning, and addressing test environment issues.
  • Hands-on hardware testing experience in a lab setting.
  • Possess curiosity, determination, and the ability to communicate issues clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience with device testing in a lab environment is preferred.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills for timely issue reporting.
  • Able to work independently and make decisions that facilitate progress despite challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Degree in computer science or a relevant testing certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in a collaborative lab environment, with a willingness to work with hardware (ATMs).
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks and tools for test management and defect tracking.
  • Proficient in using test management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience in testing user interfaces with data manipulation capabilities.
  • Involvement in exploratory and UAT testing, working closely with business partners for acceptance.
