Clinical Research Nurse

The Clinical Research Nurse at Norton Children's Research Institute (NCRI) plays a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing various clinical research protocols. This position operates under the guidance of the principal investigator and ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Norton Healthcare policies, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), FDA regulations, and ICH guidelines. The Clinical Research Nurse serves as a vital link among patients, investigators, local clinics, sponsors, and the Norton Research Institute (NRI) administration, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute clinical research protocols in accordance with established guidelines.
- Act as a liaison between patients and the research team, ensuring clarity and support throughout the research process.
- Represent the Norton Research Institute and NCRI in various clinical settings and community engagements.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Minimum of one year experience in a research or nursing environment.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure.
- Certification as a Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Research Coordinator, or Clinical Research Professional.
