About the Position:

As a highly skilled advanced clinical pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy team at Methodist Hospital. With a strong background in oncology pharmacotherapy, you will interpret medical orders, compound medications, and monitor drug therapy regimens to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately translate medical orders into the pharmacy system
  • Promote evidence-based practice through effective communication with healthcare teams
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence through continuous learning and quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care
  • Utilize your expertise to provide valuable insights on medication-related issues
  • Assist in developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborative efforts to advance patient care

Requirements and Benefits:

To succeed in this role, you should have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent, minimum 1 year of experience in hospital clinical pharmacy, BCPS certification, and current registration as a pharmacist in Texas or another state.
