Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Therapist to join our team at The START Center for Cancer Care in San Antonio, TX.

This is a full-time position responsible for providing specialty pharmaceuticals and therapy management support services to obtain optimal therapeutic outcomes, thus avoiding adverse events and unnecessary costs.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing patient care and demonstrating a strong understanding of safety, appropriateness, and effectiveness of pharmaceutical care.

A competitive salary of $110,000 - $130,000 per year reflects the importance of this role in ensuring high-quality patient care.

About the Role

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.

You will be responsible for overseeing the safety and efficacy of prescribed medications, as well as educating patients on proper usage and potential side effects.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements
  • Registered Pharmacist License
  • Experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Oncology Setting
  • Strong Understanding of Pharmaceutical Care Principles
