Job Summary

Mandarin Oriental, New York is seeking a highly skilled HR Manager - Benefits and Colleague Engagement to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and implementing all health and welfare benefit programs, as well as maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system to ensure accurate and timely benefits information for all colleagues.
  • Coordinate and deliver benefits enrollment and orientation programs for new colleagues.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to benefits and colleague engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Director of People and Culture to develop and implement strategies to improve colleague engagement and retention.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to colleagues on benefits-related inquiries and issues.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely reporting of benefits information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers and vendors to ensure seamless benefits administration.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in benefits administration and colleague engagement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits and benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Bi-lingual communication skills a plus, but not required.

Mandarin Oriental, New York offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
