General Summary:
  • Act as a patient representative on financial matters by guiding patients in securing optimal financing options for their healthcare needs.
  • Execute the financial assistance guidelines with integrity and precision.
  • Address patients' billing inquiries through various communication channels, including phone, written correspondence, or face-to-face interactions.
  • Examine issues and grievances, initiating solutions in a courteous and effective manner.
Demonstrate respect and empathy while delivering outstanding service to all clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Actively foster a positive atmosphere and uphold the core values aligned with the mission of Trinity Health.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma with a minimum of two years of experience in finance and healthcare claims processing.
  • Understanding of fundamental medical terminology along with Medicaid, Medicare, and other health programs.
  • Competence in Windows, Word, and Excel, complemented by general computer literacy.
  • Acquainted with hospital financial systems and possessing excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
